The Muscle is red and generally long and round. During contractions our muscles move, because they are flexible, they shorten and thicken.

A muscle has two ends, connectors, called tendons.
Different types of Human Muscles...
There are 3 types of muscles and each has a different duty.
Skeletal Muscle- attach to the skeleton and cause our movement.
Smooth Muscle- is found in the circulatory, digestive, and urogenital systems. Smooth Muscles assist in blood flow and in the digestive process.
Cardiac Muscle- only found in one place, the heart. Cardiac Muscles pump blood all over the body.
